School Card Program

The youth demographic spends its money in un-healthy choices on average, which causes a ripple effect with respect to body weight, health, and behaviour. The card program also helps promoting consumption of citrus drinks during the cold winter months, hence reinforcing the consumer's immune system and preparing the body for higher exposure to viruses and other disease-causing agents. Vitamin C acts as health insurance through prevention.

XQUEEZ provides literature to the students and parents highlighting the health benefits of fresh squeezed orange juice and reinforcing the School Board's commitment to healthy choice alternatives. Parents are sent literature that provides the opportunity to pre-pay for 10 servings of fresh squeezed OJ servings, allowing the students to use the card on a daily bases. The Juice Card Program helps empower parents to assist schools in achieving the goal of healthy choices for students.

The XQUEEZ Juice Card is made of 30-mm plastic (comparable to a membership card). The front of the card shows the quantity of 16 oz. servings left on the card. The card will be punched every time an OJ is ordered at the cafeteria and, once the card has been fully punched out, the student will receive a FREE drink when he returns the card to the cafeteria staff.
